Land Acknowledgement
Pride in Suds Soap Co. wishes to acknowledge and express our sincere gratitude to the Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples, on whose traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory we are fortunate to live, work, and operate.
The Stó:lō, meaning “River of the People,” have stewarded these lands and waters since time immemorial, and their deep connection to this territory continues to enrich the Chilliwack area. We recognize the historical and ongoing presence of the Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples, including the many Stó:lō communities whose heritage and culture are intrinsically linked to this land.
We are committed to fostering respectful relationships and contributing positively to the communities here. We aim to learn from and value Indigenous ways of knowing and community values.
